Registered Psychologist
Hello there! My name is Carmen Dominguez, and I am the founder of True Colours Psychology.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit the site. I am a Registered Psychologist with experience working with children both as a teacher and providing psychological services.

I approach my work with compassion and empathy. I believe that all children (and parents) do well if they can. I am committed to providing children and parents with the tools they need to achieve success navigating life's challenges. I provide support through psychoeducational assessments, consultation, and counselling.

I have experience completing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for children both in English and French immersion programs to identify:

Learning disabilities
Mental health concerns
Giftedness

I take a tailored approach to therapy by meeting individuals where they are at using a variety of counselling frameworks (e.g., solution focused, CBT, and strength-based). I use a neurodiversity affirming approach that recognizes the diverse needs of children/young adults.
